LAS VEGAS –– Ten days ago, the Sixers began a two-and-a-half-week long summer league odyssey, arriving first in Central Florida for the Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League on July 4. After winning the league’s Championship Game on Friday, the team departed for Las Vegas, the site of the Samsung NBA Summer League.

On Saturday, they won the first of three scheduled contest in Vegas, notching a 74-70 victory over the Utah Jazz. Philadelphia squares off against the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8pm (EST) on Monday and against the Phoenix Suns at 8pm (EST) on Tuesday. Following those two games, the Sixers will be guaranteed at least two more games, but could play as many as five additional contests as part of the league’s single-elimination tournament that begins on Wednesday.
