Summer League: On To Las Vegas...

by Max Rappaport Writer

One summer league down, one more to go…

There wasn’t much time for the Sixers to celebrate their Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League championship on Friday. Not long after their 91-75 win over the Memphis Grizzlies (LINK), coaches, trainers, and select players boarded a plane to join Philadelphia’s Samsung NBA Summer League contingent in Las Vegas.

In addition to OPSL participants Nerlens Noel, Casper Ware, K.J. McDaniels, and Jerami Grant, Philadelphia’s Vegas roster will feature 10 additional players, including 2013-14 Sixers Brandon Davies and Adonis Thomas and 2014 second-round pick Jordan McRae.

The Sixers’ Samsung NBA Summer League schedule begins Saturday night at 10:30pm (EST) against the Utah Jazz. The team’s next game is Monday at 8pm (EST) against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and on Tuesday, Philadelphia and Phoenix square off, again at 8pm (EST). The team’s remaining schedule will be determined later during the week.

All games will be broadcast on via Summer League Live, with select games available on NBA TV. The Sixers’ Monday and Tuesday contests will also be shown live locally on The Comcast Network. Stay tuned to for coverage throughout.
