Front Office Focus: Scott Rego
If you're a Sixers fan, you've probably seen Scott Rego before. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Rego first got his start with the organization as a 15-year-old, helping the team's marketing department roll up life-sized giveaway posters of Charles Barkley for a few bucks and a pair of tickets to a game.
He became a Ball Boy in 1988 and Assistant Equipment Manager eight years after that. In 2000, he was named head Equipment Manager, a position he's held ever since.
