PHILADELPHIA, PA. – MARCH 19, 2014 – In celebration of March as National Reading Month, Philadelphia 76ers forwards Thaddeus Young and Brandon Davies will host a SIXERS STRONG reading event for children on Thursday, March 20 in the Junior Room at the Bala Cynwyd Library (131 Old Lancaster Rd., Bala Cynwyd, Pa. 19004) at 4:00 p.m., where they will read a Dr. Seuss book to those in attendance.

The team has also given $106,980 to 35 charities in the area through the SIXERS STRONG 50/50 raffle, which takes place at every home game. All SIXERS STRONG efforts are focused exclusively on improving the life trajectory of children in the Delaware Valley.
