Fastbreak: Carter-Williams and Noel's Photo Shoot

Tuesday, Sixers rookies and longtime friends Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel joined 34 of the top picks from the 2013 NBA Draft in a photo shoot for trading card company Panini America. 

In addition to the shoot, players took turns answering questions from fans via Twitter on Panini America's account, conducted live interviews with ESPN, and mingled with one another. 

At the end of the day, they were given one card for each of the other 35 attendees and told to get as many autographs as they could. Panini documented the day's events:

Rookie Transition Program

Last week, the NBA held its annual Rookie Transition Program. The four-day symposium, which ended Friday, provided players with information and resources to aid in them in adjusting to life as professional athletes.

"The goal is to provide the education, training and support that first-year players need as they transition into the NBA," NBA senior vice president of player development Greg Taylor told USA Today. "We know that's a big transition and it requires a lot of information, a lot of support and training."

Michael Carter-Williams was one of the 50-some players to attend and had this to say:
