Sixers and Flyers Fans to Rally Outside Wells Fargo Center on April 15 at 12 p.m.

Comcast-Spectacor will host a free pep rally for fans of the playoff-bound Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers outside Wells Fargo Center on Friday, April 15 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Fans are invited to celebrate the beginning of the post season with $1 hot dogs and sodas, live music, interactive games, and special appearances from former Flyers and Sixers players, 76ers mascot Hip Hop and members of the Sixers Dance Team.

Fans on hand will have an opportunity to purchase official playoff merchandise for both the Flyers and 76ers inside the newly expanded Fan Gear store at Wells Fargo Center. The store has extended hours during the playoffs, and is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and during all playoff games.

The NBA Playoffs schedule for the Philadelphia 76ers first round match-up versus the Miami Heat will begin in Miami on Saturday, April 16 at 3:30 p.m. with game 2 being played Monday, April 18 at 7 p.m. The Sixers will play their first home game of the playoffs Thursday, April 21. The time has yet to be determined.

The Atlantic Division Champion Flyers begin their 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Buffalo Sabers this Thursday, April 14 at 7:30 p.m. Game 2 will be played Saturday, April 16 at 5 p.m.
