Class is now in session 76ers fans. Over the "course" of the Playoffs, Sixers TV broadcaster Marc Zumoff will give you an inside look at the 76ers 2003 Playoffs run from his educated view point. The first part of the curriculum in his "Zoo-ology" series is a 14-step history lesson as Professor Zumoff reminisces about his favorite 76ers Playoff memories. Take careful notes ... there might be a pop quiz in the near future. |

Zoo recalls the game: Philadelphia had led this series three games to one. The Sixers had done the same thing twice before against Boston, only to lose in a seventh game in the conference finals in 1981 and of course, the aforementioned Spectrum showdown in 1968. Remembering that, Celtic fans paraded in front of the Sixers bench before the game covered in bed sheets displaying the words, Ghosts of Celtics Past. Undaunted, the 76ers convincingly downed their hosts, 120-106. In a remarkable display, the Celtics fans chanted Beat LA, Beat LA, as the game came to its astonishing conclusion. This goes down, in my opinion, as the 76ers greatest road conquest, ever. Box Score |
