Eastern Division Finals - Game 7 vs Boston
Philly ends Boston's streak

Zoo recalls the game:

This game purged the frustration of Philadelphia’s pro basketball fans going back to the 40’s and the old Warriors. I listened to this game on the radio as the roar of a venomous Convention Hall crowd left the announcer barely audible. I did make out that guard Wally Jones couldn’t miss as the 76ers ended Boston’s NBA-record run of eight-straight titles. The Sixers went on to claim their first title in Philadelphia.
