Marc Zumoff's Playoff Memories

June 3, 2001
Eastern Conference Finals - Game 7 vs Milwaukee
Sixers reach the Finals

Zoo recalls the game:

This announcer did not broadcast the game because it was on national TV. I don’t even recall any specific performance or plays. What I do remember is standing amidst the celebrating players at the First Union Center as the 76ers and their faithful rejoiced in their first trip to the NBA Finals in 18 years. I had this unforgettably giddy feeling where I couldn’t stop laughing for the thrill of it all. I tossed a hat that said “Philadelphia 76ers, Eastern Conference Champions” to a friend in the crowd.
