Marc Zumoff's Playoff Memories

May 6 - 20, 2001
Eastern Conference Semi-Finals - vs Toronto
The Sixers defeat Toronto in seven

Zoo recalls the game:

Allen Iverson ripped off what may be the greatest, seven-game playoff series in Sixers history. In Game 2, he dropped a then Sixer playoff-record 54 points. In Game 5, he hit for 52, joining Michael Jordan as the only two players in NBA history to hit for 50 or more twice in the same playoff series. He also hit a Sixer playoff-record eight three-pointers in Game 5, one away from the NBA record. Then, in Game 7, he passed for a playoff career-high 16 assists, despite suffering a bruised left sacroiliac joint.
