FRIDAY: With the birth of their third child on Dec. 20, 2002, Eric and DeShawn Snow had an extra special Christmas this year. Jarren Christopher was born at 7:52 a.m. on the morning of the Sixers' OT win over the L.A. Lakers. Jarren joins his older brothers EJ (4) and Darius Michael (1).

ERIC:"Jarren was born about five days early, which was good. My wife and I were able to be home for Christmas. We were able to video everything, like Darius and EJ opening their presents. We relaxed and just enjoyed being with each other for the day."

WEDNESDAY, CHRISTMAS DAY: It's been quite a few seasons since the Sixers have been able to spend Christmas Day at home with their families. This year the Snow's sat down to a traditional Christmas Day Dinner joined at the table by Eric's mom and nephew.

ERIC: "We had dinner at home. It was basically just a family gathering, and my mother and nephew. We had bacon and turkey with a lot of sides and desserts."

"EJ got a lot of things, but I think his favorite gifts were the jerseys I got him from the NBA store. I ordered a lot of jerseys from other teams. He wears one everyday. He said people got on him for wearing the Vince Carter one to the games, but he said, "we're not playing the Raptors, so it doesn't matter." He's going to wear them I guess."

MORE SNOW: So what's it like with the newborn and the hectic pace of the holidays?

ERIC: EJ's fine with the baby. He's used to it because he went through the adjustment with Darius. Darius (who turned 1 earlier in the month) is the one, he doesn't really understand what is going on. In his eyes, he's still the baby. He looks at Jarren and thinks he's a toy until he starts crying. I think he was a little surprised when he figured out that Jarren makes noise!
