Dear Keypals,

I hope you are all having a great week in school. What are you learning that you can teach me? I'd love to revisit sixth grade - it was one of my favorites!

I can't believe that you guys couldn't find my hometown ... it's Winnepeg! That's where I grew up and I still love going back to visit. I have so many friends and family there, it will always be special. How is the weather back East? It has been very rainy in the great Northwest since we've arrived, but it's been nice to get out of the snow.

Akil, I will always love the NBA and my goal is to stay involved after my playing days are over. I'd love to work in either radio or television as a broadcaster and help in the overall promotion of the league. Or, have my own talk show! Just kidding, that would really be a dream come true.

Rasheeah, it really depends on the day for me with Slurpees. I like them all, and I know what you mean about the cherry ones. If I had to pick, I guess I'd say Pepsi is my favorite, and I really like to mix them all up. That gives me plenty of variety.

KeVina, I don't have any children, but I love kids and my wife and I are really looking forward to having them down the road.

Raynisha, every year since grade 5, I practiced a little more. It started probably three times a week, and moved up to every day, sometimes even more than that when I found out how much I loved the sport. Plus, I just kept growing so it came easier and easier for me.

My birthday is January 27, 1976, Maurice. Can you figure out how old I am right now? How many days have I been alive? And, a fun question ... what's my sign? How many of you in the class are the same sign as me?

Abdul, I hope to be back as soon as possible, I'm working hard and hoping to feel better soon.

Kadeem, when I was growing up in Canada, there weren't many games on. We only had the weekly network game on Sunday, and it seemed like the Knicks were on every week. I never had a favorite basketball player, my favorite athlete always was The Great One, Wayne Gretzky. He's the greatest hockey player of all time.

Sadikia, I knew that basketball wouldn't last forever, so I always made sure that school was a priority. I went to the University of Washington and earned my college degree in Speech and Hearing Science. Always make sure that you keep up with your studies, knowledge will get you very far in life!

I hope you enjoy your day off! Take care.

Todd
