Typin Todd: March 7 UICS Final Letter
Todd's intro letter: Feb. 28
UICS letter: Mar 2 | Mar 4 | Mar 6 Todd's response's: Mar 3 | Mar 5 | Mar 7 Friday, 3/7/03 Dear Todd,
Thank you for writing us once again. Before we start this letter we would like to say that we have had fun writing you all this week and good luck on your last games in your west coast swing. In school right now we are learning about Divisibility Rules. I am going to give you some rules and examples: If the sum of the digits is divisible by three the entire number is also divisible by three. An example of that is 486 - 4+8+6=18 - 486 / 3 = 162. Here is an example of 9 divisibility rule -if the sum of the digits is divisible by 9 then the entire number is divisible by 9. Here is an example - 279 - 2+7+9=18 - 279 / 9 = 31. This week has really been great. Thank you so much for taking time to send us messages. We would really like you to come to our school so we can meet you in person. If you come, we will buy you pizza. Thanks again for everything. Your keypals, UICS 6th Graders |
