Holiday misses practice with soreness in left foot

Guard Jrue Holiday sat out the Sixers' Thursday morning's practice session with soreness of the longitudinal arch in his left foot. X-rays were taken and came back negative for a fracture. He will undergo an MRI this afternoon.
According to the team, Holiday did not feel pain in the foot following Wednesday night's loss to the Chicago Bulls, but woke up Thursday morning with discomfort.
"I think it's just precautionary, but his foot is a little sore," said head coach Doug Collins. "But yeah, until I see him and know he's okay, it's very disconcerting."
Should Holiday miss any time as a result of the injury, Collins said that he would likely start guard-forward Evan Turner at the point guard position, with guard Nick Young taking Turner's place on the wing.
The team travels to Indianapolis this afternoon in preparation for a game against the Indiana Pacers Friday night.
