The Sixers host the Celtics Monday night in the final home game of the 2013-14 season. Philadelphia is 2-1 in games against Boston this season and can secure its second series victory against the Celtics in three years with a win.

Trending Topics
Rondo’s Status
Late last week, Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo suffered a left shin bruise. The injury forced him to miss both games of Boston’s Friday-Saturday back-to-back against the Bobcats and Cavaliers, and his status for Monday's game is officially listed as questionable.

Elliot Down the Stretch
As the season has wound down, guard Elliot Williams has quietly strung together eight straight games scoring in double figures; that matches his total number of double-digit scoring games on the season prior to the stretch. He’s averaging 11.9 points per game on 52.9% from the floor and 39.1% from beyond the arc over his last eight.

MCW’s ROY Case
In the month of April, rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams has helped make his case for Rookie of the Year, averaging 18.0 points on 52.6% shooting to go along with 6.8 assists, and 6.7 rebounds per game; during the stretch, he’s averaging just 1.5 turnovers per contest.

On the year, Carter-Williams leads all rookies in PPG (16.7), assists per game (6.3), and rebounds per game (6.1). If those numbers hold up, he’ll become just the third player since 1950-51 to lead all rookies in those three categories, joining Oscar Robertson (1960-61) and Alvan Adams (1975-76).
