The Sixers hadn't won a road contest since January 29, when a buzzer beater by Evan Turner lifted Philadelphia to victory over the Celtics. Friday night, the Sixers snapped that skid, again defeating Boston on the road 111-102.

Michael Carter-Williams and Henry Sims both scored 24 points to lead the Sixers. Carter-Williams notched six rebounds and six assists while shooting 9-of-14 from the floor. Sims went to the free-throw line 18 times, converting 14 of those attempts; he also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out a pair of assists.

The Sixers return to action Saturday night against the Brooklyn Nets on Fan Appreciation Night at Wells Fargo Center.
