The Sixers and Grizzlies meet for the first time this season. The teams split the 2009-10 season series, but Philly has still won eight of the past 10 games. The Sixers have won 13 of their past 16 home games, including four straight. Philly won 12 home games all of last season.
Memphis was 14-9 over its past 23 games heading into its game at New Jersey on Wednesday night and is still a legitimate playoff contender out West. The Grizzlies have gotten solid play all year long from their forwards Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph, who will be both receive strong All-Star consideration.
