UPDATE: Guard Jrue Holiday is OUT for Friday night's road meeting with the Indiana Pacers. In his absence, the Sixers will start: Evan Turner, Jason Richardson, Nick Young, Thaddeus Young, and Kwame Brown.

Guard Jrue Holiday sat out the Sixers' Thursday morning's practice session with soreness of the longitudinal arch in his left foot. X-rays were taken and came back negative for a fracture. An MRI taken in the afternoon revealed a sprain.

The injury will cause Holiday to wear a walking boot, as the team travels to Indianapolis Thursday afternoon in advance of their Friday night meeting with the Pacers.

Veteran Royal Ivey did not make the trip to Indianapolis, due to strep throat, leaving rookie Maalik Wayns as the team's only reserve point guard.
