Since 1988, the NBA has staged 58 games outside the US and Canada with 27 of those games taking place in Europe.

Now, you get a chance to see your Philadelphia 76ers match up against some of the world’s best in Barcelona, Spain and Cologne, Germany as a part of NBA Europe Live.

The Sixers hosted Media Day on Fri., Sept.29 at the Wachovia Center and then boarded the plane… destination… Barcelona. Training camp began on Sept. 30 and the Sixers will play three games while in Europe. The first will feature the Sixers matching up against Winterthur FC Barcelona at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. The team will then travel to Germany and play two games in two days. Game one will feature the Sixers vs. the Phoenix Suns at the Kolnarena Arena on Oct. 10, and in the second game the Sixers will play either CSKA Moscow or Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv.
