| What They're Saying
"There's no doubt in my mind he's the guy we wanted, and he was available. We know him pretty well. I'd be surprised if he isn't successful in Philadelphia."
-- Comcast-Spectacor Chairman Ed Snider
"It's wonderful. This is going to be great for Allen [Iverson], who is getting a guy he already knows, someone with whom he has had a significant relationship. ... Mo has an opportunity to set the stage for success."
-- Julius Erving, in the Philadelphia Daily News
"If [the Sixers] were going to make a change, I don't think they could have gotten anybody better for that franchise. [Cheeks] is loved in the city; he's loved by the players and he's a very, very capable coach."
-- Detroit Pistons head coach Larry Brown
