Career Highlights: Finished career at LSU after spending first two years at Kilgore Community College. Was the SEC’s Player of the Year following his senior season. In just two seasons at LSU, he finished with 1,347 points, 21st all time for the Tigers. His 20.4 scoring average is sixth-best all time. Finished eighth in school history with 168 three-pointers.

Senior Year (2008-2009): Averaged 21.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists, and was the consensus SEC Player of the Year. Was second in the conference in scoring. Scored 30 points in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Butler. Also had four assists and three steals. Had 25 points and five three-pointers in second-round loss to eventual national champion North Carolina. Had back-to-back 30-point games against Mississippi State and Xavier. Went over the 1,000 career-point milestone against Arkansas. Finished the year with 19 straight games scoring in double figures.

Junior Year (2007-08): Averaged 19.6 points (second in the SEC) and shot 81.7 percent from the free throw line, the second-best percentage in the conference. Made 90 three-pointers, the second most in a season in school history. Hit five or more three-pointers in a game onfive occasions. Scored 38 points against both Auburn and Mississippi State. Had double-doubles against Arizona State, Wichita State, Georgia and Villanova.

Sophomore Year (2006-07): Averaged 26.9 points. Was named a First-Team Junior College All- American. Was awarded MVP honors for Region XIV.

Freshman Year (2005-06): Averaged 14.5 points, shooting an incredible 65 percent from the field. Established himself as dominant junior college player.

Strengths: Strong two-guard with a scorer’s mentality and a knack for rebounding. Able to catch and shoot with a very quick release. Utilizes screens well, creating space for himself. Not afraid to get physical taking it to the basket.

Personal: Has two brothers. Majored in interdisciplinary studies.
