Strengths:

Is a legitimate athletic seven-footer with a 7'3" wingspan (the tallest player in the draft)... Has a big body and has the frame to add more weight... Will fight for rebounds and loose balls... Is a good passer for his position... Has a good repertoire of post moves... Has a high basketball IQ... Understands spacing and defensive positioning... Is a good shot-blocker... Runs the floor well and is a great leaper... Possesses great quickness laterally and vertically... Is an excellent weak side defender who frequently alters opponents' shots... His mobility, size and length should make him a target off of screens... Led the Big Ten in blocks and was third in rebounding.
Weaknesses:

Plays too much of a perimeter game for someone of his size... Commits too many turnovers as he can be stripped around the basket... Is not a fluid ball handler and cannot be trusted with the ball in the high post when pressured... Needs to work on back to the basket game... Has poor shooting mechanics, but they are improving... Needs to work on footwork... Is an emotional player who can hang his head at times... Needs to add more strength... Can be inconsistent... Needs to be more assertive.
