Junior (2008-09): All-SEC First Team selection. Named All-America Second Team by the AP, Sporting News and WSBWA. USBWA District Player of the Year. A First Team All-District selection by the USBWA and NABC. Led the SEC in scoring (23.7 ppg, 6th in NCAA). Recorded the top three scoring games nationally in regulation (54, 46 and 45 points). Scored 20 or more points in 22 games. Recorded 19 points and seven rebounds at UNC. Had 37 points, including 24 in the second half, vs. Kansas State. Poured in 46 points, hitting 9-of-14 three-pointers vs. Appalachian State. First UK player in 20 years to post consecutive 30-point games. Set UK single-game records with 54 points, nailing 10 three pointers and going 14-of-14 from the free throw line at Tennessee. Ended a streak of 36 straight free throws, the third-best streak in UK history at UGA. Scored 45 points on 17-of- 24 shooting at Arkansas. Hit the game-winning three-pointer with 10.6 seconds left at Creighton in second round of NIT. Hit 5-of-8 three-pointers en route to 21 points vs. Notre Dame in NIT quarterfinal.
Sophomore (2007-08): Missed six games due to a stress fracture in the pelvic area, and another 13 games (including 12 SEC contests) due to strained hip flexor. Recorded 21 points at Houston. Had 21 points and went 5-of-9 from behind the arc vs. FIU.
Freshman (2006-07):Finished fourth on the team in scoring (8.7 ppg), playing 22.1 minutes per contest as a lead reserve. Reached double figures in scoring 16 times, including 14 of last 18 games. Made 52 of his last 54 free throw attempts. Played a team- high 41 minutes in SEC Tournament quarterfinal loss to Mississippi State. Scored 18 points vs. LSU. Chipped in 15 points vs. Arkansas. Tallied 16 points, including 4-of-5 three-pointers, and five boards in 30 minutes vs. Tennessee. Had a game-high 18 points on 4-of-7 three-point shooting in win at Louisville.
Strengths: Prolific shooter with a very fluid and compact release. Shoots well both standing still and coming off screens. Moves well without the ball.
Personal: Led Norcross HG to first state championship in school history. Son of Orestes and Margaret Meeks.
