Senior (2008-09): Ranked second in Conference USA in scoring (24.5 ppg) and fifth nationally. Scored 20 or more points 23 times and topped the 30-point mark in nine games. Scored a school record 44 points at Santa Clara. Became Conference USA’s all-time leading scorer vs. Southern Mississippi. Attempted 10+ free throws 20 times, including a 20-for-20 performance vs. Marshall. Led the NCAA in free throws made (312) and attempted (374). Had more FTM (312) than FGM (282). Averaged 27.7 ppg over the final 14 games.
Junior (2007-08): Led Conference USA and ranked seventh nationally in scoring (23.6 ppg). Set single season school records for free throws made (221) and attempted (303). Scored 20 or more points 23 times and topped the 30-point mark in five games. Exploded for a career-high 41 points and pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds vs. East Carolina, setting Conference USA records for free throws made (21) and attempted (27). Posted 36 points at New Mexico Sate. Tallied 33 points and a season-high seven assists vs. Southern Miss. Registered a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds at Houston. Notched 27 points at Texas A&M. Recorded 27 points and seven rebounds at Memphis. Made 17-for-21 from the free throw line on his way to 33 points vs. Wyoming on his way to MVP honors at the State Farm Sun Bowl Tournament. Sophomore (2006-07): Led team in scoring (18.6 ppg, ranked third in C-USA) and rebounding (6.4 rpg, sixth). Scored 20 or more points 16 times. Registered five double-doubles. Posted season-high 33 points, shooting 16-for-18 from the free throw line, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out a career-high eight assists vs. Jackson State. Scored 21 points and pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds vs. Houston. Registered 25 points vs. New Mexico. Tallied 23 points, 12 rebounds and a season-high four steals vs. UC Davis. Notched a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double vs. Memphis.
Freshman (2005-06): Averaged 8.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 25.2 minutes a contest. Missed seven games with a broken jaw. Scored in double figures six times. Shot 7-for-11 from the field in scoring 14 points vs. Texas Southern. Tallied 12 points at Memphis. Contributed 10 points vs. UAB in the second round of the C-USA Tournament. Set season highs of 22 points, five assists and three blocked shots vs. Lipscomb in the first round of the postseason NIT.
Strengths: Excels in the mid-range game and possesses a refined pull-up jumper. Is extremely adept at drawing fouls and converting the resulting free throw opportunities.
