2002-03 Dance Team - Workouts & Make Overs
Dayna and the rest of the girls have a special individualized workout program that has been designed for them.

The ladies have been rehearsing three times a week to perfect each routine, before they perform it on the court. You will see a total of 20 different routines performed throughout the season.
In order to make appearances and perform in front of a crowd of 22,000, the Dance Team is encouraged to take care of their health and fitness prior to and throughout the season. Each member met with a nutritionist to discuss what they should be eating, to guarantee that their bodies are able to perform at their best. Also, to ensure they are putting back all of the proper nutrients after a tough rehearsal or game. To keep their bodies in shape, they met with a trainer who showed them the proper way to lift weights. He then put together an extensive individualized work out program that they are required to follow. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

Finally, we had to ensure that their make-up went along with their hairstyle. Each member took a day and visited Scarlett’s, the preferred cosmetic company of the Sixers Dance Team. They finally had the opportunity to sit down and be pampered, with their make-up applied to perfection. The ladies were shown how to properly apply their make-up for appearances, performances on the court and for photo sessions.
All 15 members of the Sixers Dance Team have been very busy preparing themselves for the start of the season and for you, our Sixer fans. Make sure you come to a game to catch them in action.
