Hometown: Folsom, Pa

Number of years on the team: 4

How many years of dance experience do you have?
I've been dancing since I was 3 and I am 24 now so it's been 21 years of dancing, oh wow!

What do you enjoy most about being a Sixers Dancer?
I think my favorite part about being a part of this team is being able to reach out to the community. We are able to visit children's hospitals and brighten the kid's days. Also, dancing at the games is unbelievable. The crowd gives us an energy that is like no other.

What do you do when you aren't dancing?
In my off time, I am in nursing school. Eventually, I plan to become a nurse and start a family, but I see dance as a hobby that will always being a part of my life because that will always be a passion of mine.

What is something fans wouldn't expect to know about you?
I think fans don't expect that we are full-time students or that we work full-time. The Sixers Dancers are a really smart bunch of girls and I think sometimes people get the wrong impression of us. We have full time careers and goals beyond dancing.

Who inspired you to become a Sixers Dancer?
Dance has always been a part of my family, my mom danced, and my grandparents danced (the jitterbug!) I always played sports and had a love of dance that took over. It was what I wanted to continue with.

What is one of your favorite Philly hotspots?
Anywhere in Rittenhouse Square! I love going there and spending the day shopping or going to one of those little outdoor restaurants like Rouge or Pearl. Any place that has a light atmosphere where you can sit down and "people watch" is a lot of fun.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to spend time with my boyfriend, family and friends. Of course, I love shopping, sleeping, going out to know the normal 24 yr old kind of stuff!

What is your most memorable experience as a Sixers Dancer?
I would have to say just meeting all the girls on the team. They are like my sisters; we grow so close even when different girls come on the team every year. It is just a really great way to network and have some awesome opportunities. I think making the playoffs last year was also so amazing.
