How many years have you been dancing? 18 year, 3 years with the Sixers Dancers
Describe previous dance experience.
I studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hip and pointe at Dance! By Debra DiNote in Sewell, NJ with the Dance! Workshop Company since the age of 8.
What do you do when you aren’t dancing?
I am a full time student at Rowan University studying Elementary Education and Writing Arts.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I’ve been on Dean’s List every semester in college.
What do you think are the biggest advantages to being a Sixers Dancer?
I am able to perform in front of thousands of crazy Philly fans and I am able to go out into the community to meet so many new people!
What types of Dancing do you enjoy?
I enjoy jazz and hip-hop. It's upbeat, fun and also technical at the same time.
Besides dancing, do you have any other talents?
I make delicious homemade brownies!
Describe your favorite memory of dancing.
The playoff games in 2009 during my rookie year as a Sixers Dancer!
Describe a typical day in your life.
Always busy! Classes, studying, practice or a game, back to studying or hanging out with friends
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Happily married with a teaching career and children
What do you love most about Philadelphia?
It satisfies my shopping addiction!
What is your favorite sport to watch or play?
I love to watch ice hockey.
Are any of your family members dancers?
My Nana actually still dances at 80 years old! She is in a senior citizen tap dancing group that performs at nursing homes and luncheons. How cute!
