76ers Celebrate Diamond Anniversary with Fundraising Event at Tiffany & CoIn celebration of the 76ers 60th Anniversary season, President and General Manager Ed Stefanski along with the Group Director for Tiffany & Co. Ray Raby hosted a fundraising event at Tiffany & Co. to benefit the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation/Sixers Charities. “It’s always an honor supporting the foundation, because the Comcast-Spectacor Foundation reaches out to so many people and does so many great things in the community, to put my time and effort in, it’s easy,” said Sixers Forward Elton Brand. Everyone in attendance was excited to meet and greet with their favorite Sixers players including Brand, Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert, Andre Miller, Lou Williams, Thaddeus Young, Kareem Rush, and Jason Smith. Many chose to make a donation to receive one of 100 signature blue Tiffany’s “Mystery Boxes.” Only one of the 100 boxes contained a dazzling diamond pendant. Just before the evening came to an end, all in attendance opened their boxes to see which box held the one of a kind piece of jewelry. Sixers players were elated to see the support the fans had for the cause. The players in attendance were eager to promote the event and raise as much as possible for Comcast-Spectacor Foundation/Sixers Charities. “I think it’s extremely important for us as players to be out here tonight, so that we can do our part to help the community and influence the people to help raise money for Sixers charities,” said Williams. “We try to reach and touch as many people in the community as much as we can.” |
