The 76ers established a scholarship fund in the memory of Bill Godshalk, a long-time fan and season ticket holder of both the Sixers and Flyers, who was lost in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center. The Pennsbury Scholarship Foundation gives a $1,000 scholarship each year in Godshalk’s name to a college bound graduate of Pennsbury High School.
