Donation & Appearance Request Guidelines

76ers Charitable Donation and Appearance Requests

The Philadelphia 76ers Community Relations department handles community donation and appearance requests for charitable events in the Delaware Valley area (Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware).

The 76ers distribute merchandise and autographed memorabilia to support charitable efforts that benefit organizations addressing at-risk youth as well as health and education related programs for people of all ages. Organizations are limited to one request within a twelve-month period.

In addition, former 76ers All-Star World B. Free, Hip-Hop, broadcast personalities, front office staff and Sixers Dance Team members are available for appearances at charitable events, schools or non-profit organizations as schedules permit.

Non-profit organizations must submit their request for a donation or appearance via mail at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled event.

Requests must include the following information on the organization's letterhead:

Description/mission of the organization

Event date, time and location

Event purpose

Expected attendance (if applicable)

How the item(s) will be used (raffle, door prize, auction)

What/who proceeds will benefit

Verification of 501(c)(3) status

76ers Community Assists

Through the generosity of the 76ers players, coaches and sponsors, tickets to every 76ers home game at the First Union Center are available to non-profit organizations. Groups can request tickets once a season to enjoy the fun and excitement of 76ers basketball. The 76ers fill the requests on an on-going basis. Organizations located in the Delaware Valley area that are interested in receiving a group of tickets should submit their request in writing on the organization's letterhead. Requests are accepted beginning in September until the end of October for each year.
