What was your favorite children's book growing up and why?

  • Curious George and anything Dr. Suess.

    What is your favorite book now and why?

  • At the moment, my Favorite books are anything my kids ask me to read them, because it is one of the few times I can actually get them to sit still and listen.

    What book has had a major impact on your life and why?

  • That’s tough to say I have read so many books in my life. I think when I was younger I read a lot of periodicals, IE: Time, Life, and Sports Illustrated.

    Who got you interested in reading?

  • My 8th grade teacher who challenged us to read as many books as we could that school year.

    Is reading an important part of your profession?

  • Absolutely, in the news Business, I would say fifty percent of what we do is read, the other fifty percent is writing and looking at video.

    Why is reading important?

  • Imagine not being able to read warning labels on household cleaning items, paints, food, etc.

    Why do you love to read?

  • I love to learn, and I love to soak up information and lets face it, the world itself contains a wealth of information.
