Joe DiMaggio by Richard Ben Cramer - I love sports and the history of sports. Although I was not around when DiMaggio played I find him one of the most fascinating sports figures of all time.

My parents read to me as a child and a couple of very influential grade school teachers also suggested fun books that peaked my interest.

Yes, with my radio profession it keeps me up with the latest trends in the ever-changing music world. With sports you can never read too much.

It is important because it keeps your mind alert and opens up all kinds of new worlds to you. Reading is one of the best ways to gain knowledge.
