Chris Paul recorded his second triple-double in his last three games (throwing in six steals for good measure) Wednesday night, so we'll see if the mail from Toronto slows down a bit. As will read below though, Raptors fans have another beef, this time with a rookie from Boston.
Let's get to the mail...

T-Mobile Rookie Report: Jasikevicius is back in the Pacers' rotation and should see some important minutes down the stretch with Jamaal Tinsley aching a bit. Still, we doubt Rick Carlisle starts him at this point. He's going to go with Anthony Johnson as Indiana fights for playoff position. Jasikevicius has been too inconsistent this season to earn that much trust from his coach. It will be interesting to see how the Pacer point guard situation works out in the offseason though.
How come Ike Diogu hardly gets playing time in Golden State? They're going nowhere, he's better than the rest of their big guys, and whenever he does get minutes, he has a very good game.
Rod - Yuma, Ariz.
RR: Diogu has got some decent playing time in the last couple of games. Be patient though. We're pretty sure that the Warriors are high on him and that they will find more playing time for him next season.
Hey guys, after seeing his windmill and the nice off-the-glass from Tony Allen (his two highlights for the season), I think that Gerald Green definitely deserves a spot in next years dunk contest.
Flash - Melbourne, Aus.
RR: We hear you, Flash. He's on our short-list, but more playing time next season would help his case with the real decision-makers.
What's up Rookie Rankings? Recently, a Boston Celtics rookie has really been getting under my skin for his utter disregard and contempt for the NBA and sportsmanship in general. Gerald Green, a wonderfully talented individual, has twice ended a game with an extroadinary dunk. The only problem was that they each came in the closing moments of games, both Celtic runaway victories. These dunks showed no respect to the Toronto Raptors organization and more importantly to the NBA. Even worse, after each of his dunks he's looked as if he's just scored the basket to win a championship. I know he only averages 5.7 mpg, but showing up the opponent is no way to earn playing time and respect around the league.

Hey RR: Thanks for doing such a great job this year showing us readers more about the rookies. I personally just started to look in to drafts/rookies in the 2005 Draft. Without much NCAA info, I saw CP3 during the draft and it just seemed that he had a special force around him that made me say, "This kid is gonna be huge." And now he proved me right. However, what I don't get was, what's the reason of CP3 going to 4th pick overall? I was always saying he was top 3 for sure but Utah chose Deron over Paul. Why? Also, What was the reason for the slow start Marvin Williams had this year? Answers will be appreciated.
Henry - Arcadia, Cal.
RR: Williams and Paul are two different types of point guards. Williams is stronger, a better shooter and probably better defensively. The Jazz believed he was a better fit in their system.
Marvin Williams is young. Some players take longer than others to adjust to the league and build their confidence. In the long run, what he did in the first 30 or 40 games of his career will mean very little when it comes to evaluating his selection by the Hawks.
It seems to me that many supporters get a bit carried away with the performances of the rookies when it comes to "big" numbers, particularly when they are in teams that are struggling. Chris Paul is obviously the pick of the crop this year, but after that, the next 4-5 are pretty close in my book. Numbers are one thing, but it seems to me that at this stage of the season, only four of the top 10 have a chance of being in the playoffs, with Bogut & Granger looking the most likely. I have no doubt that if these four were in a side that had only won 20 odd games, like Villanueva, Felton, Frye etc., their numbers would be much higher than they are (particularly the workhorse Bogut). Would appreciate your thoughts.
Ramere - Trevallyn, Aus.
RR: You're probably right, Ramere. We get plenty of emails from fans claiming that Player X's numbers would be just the same as Player Y's if they got the same minutes or if they were on that team instead. All we can do though, is evaluate what has really happened. We try not to deal with hypotheticals.
Being from a different country other than USA or Canada, I think that the players from other countries aren't mentioned or talked about in their own rookie rankings. Now, I'm not saying that Andy Bogut should no.1 or no.2 in the Rookie Rankings, I just think that you should have an international rookie rankings or something like that.
Al - Sydney, Aus.
RR: Here you go, Al:
1. Andrew Bogut - Milwaukee (Australia)
2. Johan Petro - Seattle (France)
3. Sarunas Jasikevicius - Indiana (Lithuania)
4. Jose Calderon - Toronto (Spain)
5. Linas Kleiza - Denver (Lithuania)
