Rockets season ticket holders enjoy an evening interacting with players

HOUSTON - Rockets Season Ticket Holders lined the Bell Street entrance of Toyota Center, waiting in anticipation for the 8th Annual Rockets Play Day event to begin. Once it did, the fans found the fun-filled event well worth the wait.

Over 2,000 Season Ticket Holders were in attendance to interact with the team, participate in on-court clinics & activities, play arcade and carnival games, and meet front office personnel and other season ticket holders. Randomly selected fans even had the opportunity to have a photograph session with players like Yao Ming and Luis Scola. But perhaps the biggest highlight of all was had by the participants who took part in games of one-on-one against their favorite players on the Toyota Center court.

Said Rockets' Director of Ticket & Premium Services Zee French: “What makes this event so special is the player interaction. Play Day has it all - whether it is seeing Luis Scola give rebounding instruction to a group of kids or watching Chuck Hayes compete against a Season Ticket Holder on the Nintendo Wii.”
