Rockets Summer Leagues

HOUSTON (July 12) - The Houston Rockets have announced details regarding their participation in this month's Southern California Summer Pro League and Rocky Mountain Revue. These summer exhibition games will feature the Rockets debut of 2001 NBA Draft picks Eddie Griffin and Terence Morris.

The Rockets have invited 14 players to participate in their summer league entries this year. From last season's Rockets roster, Jason Collier, Sean Colson and Dan Langhi will play in both competitions.

The Southern California Summer Pro League will be held on the campus of Long Beach State, with the Rockets opening their schedule vs. the L.A. Clippers on Thursday, July 12. Houston will also play games against Golden State, the L.A. Lakers and Memphis in its first summer tournament.

The Rocky Mountain Revue will take place at the Salt Lake City Community College, with the Rockets starting play vs. Dallas on Friday, July 20. Houston will also play Memphis, Portland, San Antonio, Utah and Phoenix. The Rockets will play on ESPN vs. Utah on Thursday, July 26.
