Collier moves to the injured list due to medial tibial periostitis, which forced him to miss five preseason games. He averaged 6.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in three preseason games this month. The 7-foot, 260-pound center averaged 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds as a rookie with the Rockets last season.
Langhi shifts to the injured list because of a right ankle sprain, which caused him to miss two preseason games. He averaged 5.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in the five preseason appearances. The 6-foot-11, 220-pound forward averaged 2.7 points and 1.2 rebounds as a rookie with Houston last season.
Taylor joins the injured list due to a torn right Achilles tendon, which required corrective surgery on Sept. 5. He re-signed with the Rockets after averaging 13.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in Houston last season. The 6-foot-9, 260-pound forward has averaged 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in four NBA seasons.
The Rockets roster now stands at 12 active players: Tierre Brown, Kelvin Cato, Steve Francis, Eddie Griffin, Cuttino Mobley, Terence Morris, “Moochie” Norris, Glen Rice, Kenny Thomas, Oscar Torres, Walt Williams and Kevin Willis.
