HOUSTON -- Tracy McGrady underwent arthroscopic surgeries on his left knee and left shoulder on Tuesday.
The Rockets' shooting guard is expected to need three months to recover from the surgeries, but can begin rehabilitation in the coming weeks.
Rockets team physician Tom Clanton said there was no structural damage in McGrady's knee.
The shoulder procedure, which was performed by team physician Hussein Elkousy, was done to repair a slightly torn labrum in the guard's shoulder.
McGrady played with both injuries over the final few weeks of the regular season and playoffs. He missed 12 games in December and January because of knee problems.
