The University of Iowa product entered the NBA during the 1999-2000 season, as his hustle immediately made him a fan favorite in Denver. During the 2001-2002 season, Bowen averaged career highs of 4.9 points and 4.0 rebounds with 1.00 steals in a career-high 75 games with Denver. Last season he averaged 0.9 points in 7.5 minutes with Denver.
