PrintRPD Auditions
The Houston Rockets are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and personable, talented dancers with a love of performing on court to become a part of the 2005-06 Rockets Power Dancers. Preliminary auditions for the team are scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2005. Registration begins at 8:30AM.

Power Dancer Requirements:
- Female dancers must be 18 years of age or older by the audition date.
- Previous dance training.
- Must bring a non-returnable headshot photo.
- Must bring a professional and/or dance resume.
- Complete Power Dancer 2005-2006 Application.
- Some form of photo identification to verify age.
Attire:
- Two piece leotard with flesh tone colored tights. (Must show your mid-section)
- Either dance sneaker, jazz shoes or non-marking rubber soled shoes.
- Performance ready hair and make-up.
General Information:
The first round of the audition process is open to the public after registration ends. Upon the completion of the first round and the dancers for round two are announced, all spectators must exit Toyota Center. Round 2 is closed to the public, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The finalist that will be continuing in the audition process will be announced after round 2. An interview will be scheduled for the following week. Final auditions will be held tentatively on Thursday, July 21, 2005 beginning at 5:30pm. The new team will be announced at the end of the final audition.
