School: Cy Fair College
Why I wanted to be a RPD: I’ve always wanted to be a RPD. When I was younger, I saw the Rockets Power Dancers on TV when I watched basketball games with my dad and I thought it would be so much fun to wear all the cute outfits. After dancing in high school and college, I decided I wanted to take my dance experience to the next level with a professional and elite dance team. It's fun and such an honor to be part of this kind of an organization.
Favorite Dance Routine: I like almost every routine! But my favorite routine would have to be the one to Jennifer Lopez's "Do it Well." It was a fun and challenging hip-hop routine.
Hobbies: Spending time with my family, going out with my girls, watching movies, eating and of course dancing!
Favorite movie: I have a lot of favorite movies! Stomp the Yard, Step Up, the Rush Hour series, Lucky Number Sleven, The Notebook, Honey and a lot more!
Songs on my iPod: A variety of songs from rap, alternative to slow R&B songs. Kanye West, Beyonce, All-American Rejects, Kiesha Cole, Black Eyed Peaa, Alicia Keys, Usher, Linkin Park, Snow Patrol, Simple Plan, John Mayer and more.
Favorite restaurant: Aka Japanese Restaurant
I'm happiest when: I’m with my family and friends.
Favorite Christmas memory: For Christmas almost every year, my family would go to Las Vegas. It's so much fun and a great way to spend a holiday together as a family.
Favorite childhood recital: When I was at my dance studio, we did a production of The Nutcracker. I got to be the Nutcracker. It was very exciting!
Greatest Athletic Achievement: My greatest athletic achievement was being the first colonel for my high school drill team.
Pregame Ritual: I practice the routines for the game, get dressed and do my make-up, try not to be nervous, pray for the best for all the girls, myself and the Rockets.
My favorite part of the game: When the lights go out during player introductions, we turn on the lights in our red poms-poms and run out onto the floor!
My favorite Rockets memory: My favorite Rockets memory is making the team. I opened the letter and it said, "Congratulations!"
My goal in life: To become a strong and successful woman in my career and to get married and start a family. Do everything to the best of my ability and never give up on my dreams and goals.
