Electronics Recycling Weekend is February 26th and 27th


The Houston Rockets are going green and inviting you to join in their initiative to take care of the city and surrounding area’s environment.

WHAT: As Red Nation continues to Go Green, the Houston Rockets and Toyota Center are teaming up with Republic Services & Eagle Electronics for our second annual Electronics Recycling Weekend!

WHEN: Friday, February 26 from 11am-1pm and Saturday, February 27 from Noon-3pm

WHERE: Toyota Center

  • La Branch Street
  • Cars should pull up to Toyota Center via La Branch Street

ITEMS ACCEPTED:

  • Televisions
  • Computers (laptop & desktop)
  • Monitors
  • Peripherals (mice & keyboards)
  • Printers

TICKET OFFER: Anyone who donates on either day will receive a voucher for two tickets to the Houston Rockets annual Environmental Awareness Game, presented by Republic Services, on March 1.

Electronics Recycling Weekend and other events serve as the build-up for the Rockets third annual Environmental Awareness Game slated to take place March 1st when the Toronto Raptors invade Toyota Center. The first 5,000 fans will receive reusable red tote bags courtesy of Republic Services as the team does its best to raise environmental literacy.

During last year's Electronics Recycling Day, Luis Scola and dozens of other Rockets staffers spent a morning and afternoon collecting televisions, computers and other electronics to be recycled at Toyota Center.
