The Houston Rockets and Devon Energy acknowledge that America’s future depends on teachers educating our children, and applaud the exceptional teachers in the Houston area at the forefront of our school successes. Teacher of the Game will recognize exemplary PK-12th grade teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty, as well as inspire their students to succeed in life and in school.

What Will Teachers Win?
Ten (10) outstanding Houston area teachers will win the Teacher of the Game award.

Teacher of the Game will Receive:

  • 2 Houston Rockets home game tickets
  • Teacher of the Game T-shirt
  • Commemorative Award
  • Recognition at the game

Eligible Teachers:
Pre-K — 12th Grade Teachers may be nominated

Who may submit a nomination?
Principals, teachers, administrators, school faculty and PTA/PTO members are encouraged to nominate teachers deserving of public recognition who inspire their students to succeed.

How to Participate--Deadline & Return Information:
Tell us about an outstanding teacher you know! Accepting nomination forms NOW until January 26, 2007. The sooner you turn in a nomination form, the sooner the teacher you nominate may be recognized!
