Season of Giving
This has become a holiday tradition bringing together Rockets players, their families and members of the business team, as they host a series of events for members of the community who are less fortunate. Each year, hundreds of children and their families are the recipients of private parties, gifts and surprise visits by players.

Sunshine Kids Presented by Southwest Airlines
For the past 14 seasons, the Rockets and Southwest Airlines have hosted children from the Sunshine Kids organization to an exclusive trip to a Rockets road game. Children who are faced with the challenge of battling cancer are treated to a send off rally at the airport complete with Clutch, Power Dancers and lots of games. Next, the children board a flight to the location of the Rockets road game and spend some one-on-one time with Rockets players at a special meet-and-greet before seeing the Rockets take on the opponent.

United Way
Our partnership with the United Way of Greater Houston is just one more way that we are investing in our community. Throughout the year, our entire organization volunteers for service projects and special committees, as well as make personal donations to the annual campaign.
