Raptors Announce Training Camp Roster
September 15, 2009 - The Toronto Raptors announced Monday the team’s roster for training camp at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario from September 29 – October 3 and back at Air Canada Centre from October 4-27. The Raptors will have 12 new faces from last year’s camp in Ottawa with Andrea Bargnani, Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon being the only returnees.
Head Coach Jay Triano will conduct his first camp at the helm of the club after seven seasons with the team as an assistant coach.
The Raptors open the 2009 preseason Tuesday, October 6 in London, Ontario against the Philadelphia 76ers. The two teams will play again the following night in Toronto at Air Canada Centre at 7 p.m. The club’s 2009-10 regular season opener is Wednesday, October 28 at Air Canada Centre versus Cleveland.
