NBA Round 2 underway...

KG is a Hall of Famer but why he becomes a facilitator in the fourth quarter (game six) is beyond me. The big question for the Hawks... will Mike Woodson stay on as head coach. He and Billy Knight have an icy relationship. Is Kobe… Kobe Crazy? Flat out spectacular. I flat out love what the Hornets are doing. What a great story. Kobe might be on the verge of winning the MVP award as reported over the weekend by the LA Times but Chris Paul is at an elite level as well playing incredible ball. T-Mc is now 0-7 in first round playoff ball. The Heat are 59-105 since winning the NBA title two years ago. That deserves an "Are you kidding me?" KTAR Radio in Phoenix is reporting Mike D'Antoni has permission to speak to the Knicks and Bulls if he wishes. Rick Carlisle to the Mavs? Interesting hire if it happens. I think the world of Rick as a coach but is he the right fit? Is this all window dressing for the Knicks or are they still locked in on Mark Jackson? Speaking coaches… Ettore Messina has proven himself year after year. Who will have the "onions" to hire him as a top assistant or even a head coach in the NBA? Are we ready for the first legitimate International coach? I'm not going to bury the Magic but let's just say of the Pistons show up every night and bring their game face it will be a very short series. The two teams are talking smack. The focus in the East will be on the Cavs -Celtics series NOT Detroit-Orlando. Hate to say I told you so but I told you so on the Flyers. Sounds like the Bears Cedric Benson had an interesting weekend. I am so confused with reports coming out of Philadelphia on Marvin Harrison's role in a reported shooting. My mom would always tell me you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Tell that to the Redskins second round pick Fred Davis who did not show up for minicamp practice Sunday having overslept on just his third day in the NFL. Incredible.
