MIKE SWEETNEY
Position: Forward
Height: 6-8
Weight: 260 lbs
College: Georgetown
Declared after: Junior Year
Birthdate: October 25, 1982
Hometown: Oxon Hill, Maryland

HIS GAME
Pros: Possesses an excellent work ethic as demonstrated when he lost considerable weight between his sophomore and junior seasons. He'll need to drop down more to improve his mobility for NBA-level competition. Sweetney is a prototypical power forward who lives in the paint. Has great hands for a big man and has some nice low post moves. Likes to call for the ball when he sets up in the post. He is very coachabe, never takes a possession off and plays just as hard at both ends of the floor. Very soft hands for a big man.

Cons: Sweetney isn’t terribly gifted athletically and is not very explosive. Sometimes his movement is a little methodical. His height will make him undersized at the power forward spot in the NBA.
