Raptors Set Roster For Opening Night

Each team will be required to carry 12 players on its active list and one player on its inactive list. Teams may have a maximum of three players on its inactive list. There is no injured list - a player’s designation can be changed from inactive to active on a game-to-game basis. Players sent to the NBA Development League will continue to count on a team’s inactive list.

Guards Quincy Douby and Sonny Weems, and forward Reggie Evans (left midfoot sprain) have been listed as inactive for the purpose of submitting today’s roster.

The upcoming campaign marks the Raptors’ 15th anniversary season in the NBA. They sport an 8-6 mark in season openers. They defeated the 76ers, 95-84, at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia in last season’s opener.

The Raptors head to Memphis to play the Grizzlies on Friday before returning home to face Dwight Howard, former Raptor Vince Carter and the defending Eastern Conference Champion Orlando Magic.
