(ORLANDO, Fla.) -- A familiar face re-emerged as a big winner on the final day of the NBA Pre-Draft Camp at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex on Friday. While many players were fighting to leave a positive impression on the league GMs and scouts, Toronto native Denham Brown let his shooting do the talking.

Brown made 8-of-15 shots from the field and led his team with 20 points. Combined with 12 and 13-point performances earlier in the week, he left a lasting impression that may lead to additional workout offers in the weeks leading up to the draft.

“It’s really important to finish strong,” Brown said. “You have stay consistent and show these GMs that you are able to come out and perform at a high level.”

Brown, who has already worked out for the Raptors, did not hurt his chances with the hometown team with his performance this week.

“He had an overall good game today,” Raptors director of player personnel Jim Kelly said. “He showed us today that he can be a consistent shooter.”

SECRET FORMULA: After three consecutive days of games and workout sessions, Friday was also a test of physical endurance for the prospects at the pre-draft camp. Denham Brown had his own formula for success against the physical strain.

“Just getting rest, water and mentally clearing my head is key.” Brown said. “I’m not really going out to party or things like that. This (the games) is what we are here for. If you don’t realize that you’re not going to do too much on the court.”

HERE FOR THE PARTY: The NBA Pre-Draft Camp will wrap up on Saturday when 12 of the top entries attend a media luncheon at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club. Some of the players planning to attend include Adam Morrison, Tyrus Thomas, J.J. Redick and LaMarcus Aldridge.

DECISION TIME: While the top draft prospects are wined and dined, the majority of the camp participants will return home and hope for workout invitations.

“You hope they get some workouts and one last showing.” Kelly said. “If not, there is always that church down the road.”

The early draft entries have until June 18 to decide withdraw from draft.
