A Swirsk's Eye View

So it comes down to Game 6 Friday night at the ACC after a disappointing loss to Philly on Wednesday. The Raptors were awful. There is no other way of putting it.

They trailed 11-0 and were never in the game. The Raptors never got it going ... period.

If the Raptors want a Game 7, they must play better defense, cut down on turnovers and find a way to contain Allen Iverson, who once again was brilliant ... not good but brilliant.

The Raptors need better production out of Charles Oakley. Alvin Williams plays his heart out and is flat out gassed out. The Knicks series took something out of Alvin, and chasing Iverson around doesn't help believe me. Williams doesn't quit and gives every ounce of juice to the game.

Antonio Davis is banged up and hopefully the mini-rest will help him. Mutombo has really stepped up his play. McKie has been outstanding. I love to see Jerome Williams on the floor because he makes things happen. Mo Peterson and Keon Clark came off the bench and played well in limited time.

The bottom line is the Raptors must come out with a certain edge to their game and almost be in a foul mood ... with a nasty attitude that refuses to allow Philadelphia to celebrate on Toronto's court.
