Oct. 31 The Raptors open the 2000-01 season with a 104-95 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Nov. 11 Charles Oakley records his third career triple-double against the Chicago Bulls with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists.
Nov. 18 Vince Carter scores a season-high 48 points and sets a franchise record with 30 points in a half vs. the Bucks.
Nov. 20 Toronto sets a franchise record for futility with only 64 points against the Hornets.
Nov. 23 The Raptors win in Indiana 111-91 for the first time in franchise history.
Dec. 1 Alvin Williams hits a three-pointer against the L.A Clippers with 1.9 seconds left to send the game to overtime. The Raptors would eventually win, 104-95.
Dec. 20 Antonio Davis pulls down a career-high 19 rebounds and scores the game-winning point from the line with 1.8 seconds remaining to defeat his former team, the Indiana Pacers.
Dec. 28 Vince Carter nails a game-winning three-pointer at Denver to give Toronto a 94-93 victory.
Dec. 30 Vince Carter collects 46 points for the game and a franchise-tying 20 points in a single quarter in a 109-103 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Jan. 7 Alvin Wiliams scores a putback basket with 0.1 seconds remaining to give Toronto a 94-92 victory over the Sonics. Morris Peterson gets his first NBA start, scoring 22 points.
Jan. 12 Keon Clark, Tracy Murray and Mamadou N'diaye are acquired from Denver for Kevin Willis, Garth Joseph and Aleksander Radojevic. The Raptors and the Celtics set an NBA record by combining to score only 18 points in a quarter.
Jan. 19 Lenny Wilkens records his 1,200th NBA win with a 101-79 victory over the visiting Washington Wizards.
Jan. 16 The Raptors tie an NBA record with only three turnovers in a 114-99 loss to Houston.
Jan. 27 For the second consecutive year, Vince Carter receives the most fan votes for the NBA All-Star Game (1,717,687).
Feb. 8 Antonio Davis is selected to the 2001 NBA All-Star Game.
Feb. 10 Morris Peterson plays in the Schick NBA Rookie Challenge, scoring eight points.
Feb. 11 Vince Carter and Antonio Davis start for the Eastern Conference at the NBA All-Star Game in Washington, D.C. and help their team to a dramatic 111-110 comeback victory.
Feb. 13 The Raptors score a season-high 120 points against the Cavaliers.
Feb. 20 Mark Jackson records his 9,062nd career assist vs. Golden State to surpass Isiah Thomas for fourth spot on the NBA all-time assists chart.
Feb. 22 At the trading deadline, Toronto sends Mark Jackson and Muggsy Bogues to the New York Knicks for Chris Childs and a first-round draft pick. As well, Jerome Williams and Eric Montross are acquired from the Detroit Pistons for Corliss Williamson, Kornel David and Tyrone Corbin and a future first-round draft choice.
Feb. 27 Morris Peterson sets a career-high with 29 points against the visiting Cavaliers.
Feb. 28 Charles Oakley becomes the Raptors' all-time leading rebounder pulling down 11 boards at Atlanta, surpassing Doug Christie's mark of 1,448.
Mar. 2 Vince Carter becomes the Raptors' all-time leading scorer, surpassing Doug Christie (4,448).
Mar. 4 Vince Carter is named NBA Player of the Week, averaging 31.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists leading the Raptors to four consecutive victories.
Mar. 23 The Raptors, led by Keon Clark's career-best 12 blocks, set an NBA record for most blocks in a game with 23 vs. Atlanta. Alvin Williams records his first career triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists.
Mar. 27 Dell Curry scores a season-high 23 points off the bench in Miami to spoil the return of Alonzo Mourning as Toronto beats the Heat, 101-92.
Apr. 1 Toronto loses to Orlando, 104-101, in the first game back in Toronto for Tracy McGrady.
Apr. 3 The Raptors defeat the Sixers, 100-85, to secure their second consecutive trip to the playoffs. Eric Monrtross makes his first start for the Raptors recording 6 points and 11 rebounds.
Apr. 6 Antonio Davis scores a career-high 31 points, while also grabbing 13 rebounds against the Magic.
Apr. 13 The Raptors defeat the Miami Heat 94-82 in front of an over capacity crowd of 20,104, the largest crowd to attend a sporting event in Air Canada Centre.
Apr. 17 The Raptors surpass last season's record for wins in a season (46) and wins at home (27) after a 94-92 overtime win over Detroit.. Toronto also finishes their home schedule with a franchise-best 27th sellout.
